Teachable Mama Moment..

Just watched "Hyper Parents & Coddled Kids". Nothing new really, but a really good wake up call to not over-parent. My take away from the program:

• encourage/allow more rough play with friends (you'd have to see the program to understand this :))
• provide time for free play and avoid over scheduling
• don't praise too much
• let her make her own decisions (check, she's better at this than me)
